Frequently asked questions?

We have shared some of the most frequently asked questions to help you out.
Pulmonary rehabilitation is a therapy program for those who have persistent breathing issues, such as chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), interstitial lung disease (ILD), bronchiectasis, post-COVID, or asthma. The purpose of pulmonary rehabilitation is to improve a patient’s breathing, physical activity level, and overall quality of life.

People suffering from chronic lung disorders such as chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), interstitial lung disease (ILD), bronchiectasis, post-COVID, or asthma, may benefit from virtual pulmonary rehab. A virtual option is also ideal for people that are unable to travel to in-person rehabilitation programs due to mobility difficulties, distance, or other circumstances. BreatheSuite’s program is also much more affordable and convenient compared to in-person programs.

Our program typically includes a variety of exercises that are designed to improve users’ lung function and overall physical health. These may include aerobic activities such as walking, strength training exercises to improve muscle strength and endurance, and breathing exercises to improve lung function. Each person who enrolls in our program also receives resistance bands that are included in our Welcome Kit which can also be used with various exercises. It’s important to note that the type of exercises depend on the user and the severity of their condition.
Most Medicare plans with a secondary cover your entire cost. For other insurances, you’ll pay the same that you would pay to visit a physical therapist, not a penny more. We will verify your insurance benefits before the program starts so there are never any surprises about what your obligation might be.
Studies have shown that virtual pulmonary rehab can be just as effective as in-person programs, and can even provide some additional benefits such as increased convenience and accessibility.
